Nutrition for Training and Competition
A sound nutrition plan is just as important as your physical training program. If you get your nutrition right you can avoid hitting the wall, you will feel as if you have more energy, recover more quickly and be looking after your body. To maximise your performance thought must be given to what you eat and drink: prior to, during and after training.
Nutrition is important for any training session or event that is going to last for 1.5 hours or more.
